NakaFarming Project
Community-based farming initiative in Naka region, promoting sustainable agricultural practices and improving local food security through collective farming.

The Naka Community Farming Project was implemented to strengthen food security and promote sustainable agriculture through community-led farming in Naka, Benue State. In collaboration with the traditional leadership, the project established demonstration farms for rice and guinea corn while engaging and training community youths on good agricultural practices and sustainable farming techniques.
The project provided community members with hands-on farming experience, enabling youths to develop practical agricultural skills while contributing to the cultivation of key food crops within the community. Through this approach, the project supported increased local participation in agriculture and encouraged the adoption of sustainable farming methods.
