Dry Season Rice Project
Project Overview

The Dry Season Rice Project was established to improve food security and strengthen the livelihoods of smallholder farmers by promoting year-round rice cultivation. The project supported farmers in Oju Local Government Area of Benue State with access to quality agri-inputs, climate-smart farming training, and extension support for dry-season rice production.

By equipping farmers with the knowledge and resources needed to cultivate beyond the traditional rainy season, the project increased agricultural productivity, enhanced household incomes, and contributed to a more resilient and sustainable local food system.
